Project Controller
SF Recruitment are partnered with a West Midlands based, Manufacturing business who are seeking a Project Controller to join the growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Project Director, this is a critical role in the development of the business as it continues to scale. It provides a motivated individual with an ideal opportunity to grow with the business during its next phase as well as providing exposure to the private equity environment.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to corporate governance, internal controls, and finance directives. Implement audit actions.
- Financial Planning: Create and manage the Project Financial Execution Plan, focusing on cash flow, revenues, and financial reporting.
- Monitor & Review: Establish governance processes, conduct financial reviews, and assess project risks and opportunities with the Project Director.
- Manage Commercial Terms: Handle claims, insurance, and commercial agreements, ensuring proper follow-up with stakeholders.
- Oversee Currency & Tax: Manage currency risks, bonds, guarantees, and tax obligations within the project.
- Organize Project Setup: Manage the setup and closure of project-related branches and ensure timely financial and tax reporting.
- Support Audits: Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
- Lead Project Teams: Supervise and develop Project Controllers and Site Controllers based on project needs.
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience, and seeking opportunity in a fast paced, dynamic, profitable business where you will really be able to grow and develop the role as this division grows.
