Data Engineer Needed for Platform Migration
1 Day per week in the office.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer to support a 3-month contract for a data platform migration project. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL, and Spark, with the ability to modernise and optimise data pipelines as part of the migration process.
The Role:
- Lead the migration of an existing data platform to Microsoft Fabric
- Develop and optimise ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and security throughout the migration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align the new platform with business needs
- Provide technical expertise on Fabric's data architecture and capabilities
What You'll Need:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark
- Hands-on experience with data platform migrations
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines
- Availability to work on-site in Widnes one day per week
